Silicon One

Cisco Silicon One is the only unifying architecture enabling customers to deploy the best of breed silicon from top of rack switches all the way through the web scale data centers and across the service provider networks with a fully unified routing and switching portfolio. Silicon One is part of the project to build the future of the internet.

My role in this project was to take the following signage and photography created by my team and turn them into striking cinemagraphs and motion graphics for digital screens.

Going in a little blind

Our Creative Director had seen me animating 2d graphics before so he asked me if I could animate these images into a cinemagraph. With a tight deadline and without any prior experience of animating photographs, I said yes. I love a good challenge and I think this was a great learning experience for me and our team that had been involved in the project.

Taking it all apart

This was a very photoshop intensive project. I also had help from the photography team to take all these photographs apart so I could animate parts of each graphic individually in After Effects.

Storyboard

Storyboard I submitted to our Creative Director for approval. This was done quickly on photoshop.

Motion Graphics for the launch

Graphics done by Chris Ross in our team. My task was to take the graphic and turn it into a motion graphic for the launch. The motion graphic was also used by our CEO, Chuck Robbins, as an introduction before he came on stage.
